FireLock Devices by Victaulic
FireLock Couplings
& Fittings
These devices are the most revolutionary on
the market today. Lighter and more compact than competitive devices, the line of FireLock
fire protection valves delivers a new level of innovation and sophistication. Our line of
dry, deluge and preaction valves are designed to automatically reset after the water
supply valve has been closed and the system drained. FireLock devices offer higher
pressure capabilities, reduced trim, and easy in-line service. All these valves are rated
to 300 PSI (2065 kPa) and are hydrostatically tested to 600 PSI (4100 kPa) before leaving
the factory.
Grooving Tools
Victaulic invented the grooved piping
method and the tools that are used to produce the groove. From the fab shop to the job
site, Victaulic has the tools that will get the job done. In addition to our powered
groovers, Victaulic manufactures a comprehensive line of in-line groovers for on-site
repairs and retrofits. One tool is all that is needed to create any size hole you need for
a branch outlet. |

Pressfit
System
The revolutionary Pressfit system is the
fastest and easiest way to join small diameter pipe. Using Schedule 5 pipe, the Pressfit
system installs quickly using a handheld pressing tool. The system is available in carbon
and stainless steel. A variety of couplings and fittings are available for use in your
fire protection system. Available in ½ through 2-inch (21,0 - 60,3 mm) sizes, the
Pressfit system is UL/ULC Listed and FM Approved to 175 PSI (1200 kPa). The fitting shown
here provides a direct connection for sprinkler heads and other threaded accessories.

| Air Pressure Maintenance Device
With its corrosion-resistant construction, adjustable pressure, and replacement air
filter, the Viking Air Pressure Maintenance Device is easily serviced and provides a
dependable way to maintain air pressure.

| Model C-1 Thermostatic Release 
The Viking Model C-1 Thermostatic
Release is a rate-of-rise release which can be used to enhance the reaction time of
hydraulic or pneumatic release line systems. It is listed for a maximum spacing of 50' x
50' (15.24m x 15.24m).
The new Model E-1 Accelerator and
Model B-1 Anti-Flood Device Assembly virtually eliminate the troublesome possibility of
accelerator flooding. The accelerator/anti-flood device trim has been redesigned to
permanently separate the accelerator from the trim piping that can flood it, reducing the
possibility of corrosion and debris build-up in the small screens and orifices. The Viking
Anti-Flood Device prevents water from working its way into the accelerator. When the
accelerator does need service, it can be removed without disassembling any trim piping.

The Viking MicrofastHP® VK800 Fixed
Temperature Release is a modified quick response sprinkler specifically tested and
approved as a wide-area fixed temperature release. It is designed for use on pilot line
release systems to activate deluge, dry pipe, and preaction systems. The VK800 Fixed
Temperature Release is equipped with a rugged 3 mm glass bulb, and is available in several
finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. The VK800 release is rated
to 250 PSI (1 724 kPa) water working pressure, and is listed for up to 40' x 40' (12 m x
12 m) coverage, depending on applicable hazard.

The Viking Maintenance Air Compressor
is used to automatically maintain the air pressure in any size dry system after the system
has been filled from a plant air supply. It can be used as a basic air supply for systems
of 150 gallon capacity or smaller. Since the Viking Maintenance Air Compressor is
riser-mounted, it doesn't require floor space and, thanks to its sealed compressor unit
and oil-less electric motor, it doesn't require maintenance. It includes a factory-mounted
air supervisory switch and trim piping.

The Viking Model B-1 Par-3 Microprocessor
Release Control Panel offers supervised 24VDC circuitry, and may be used with a normally
open detector. It can be cross-zoned, provide supervision for other detectors and
components, and incorporate local and remote trouble alarms as well as required local and
remote water-flow alarms.
