is a full service fire protection and security system firm.
BFPE is headquartered in Hanover, Maryland with branch offices
in Chesapeake, Virginia, Sterling, Virginia, and Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. BFPE also has offices in Clayton, Fayetteville,
Laurinburg, and Wilmington, North Carolina as well as in Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina. This allows us to serve customers from
Pennsylvania to South Carolina and Delaware to Ohio. Each office
can provide sales, installation, inspection, testing and engineering
services.

Italy and Saudi Arabia. We have provided services to all types

BFPE
INTERNATIONAL provides scheduled preventative maintenance and
testing for fire and security systems. Our service department
utilizes a custom database, professionally trained technicians
and a modern 210 vehicle fleet to ensure the highest quality
service in the industry. We provide true 24 hour emergency service
by on-call personnel.
We
also maintain a wide array of installation and testing equipment.
Our technicians operate Halon and clean agent recovery systems,
CO2 bulk storage and dispensing systems, dry chemical storage
and dispensing systems and hydrostatic test equipment. We also
utilize smoke and optical detection sensitivity and calibration
equipment. Our engineering staff utilizes computer aided design
(CAD) for accurate and precise engineering drawings and submittal
documents.
Our
engineering staff has the capability of producing detailed designs
of engineered clean agent (FM-200, INERGEN, and FE-13), Carbon
Dioxide (CO2), Halon 1301, dry chemical (Classes A, B, C and
D), wet chemical (Restaurant cooking equipment), Vehicle /off
road fire protection systems and water sprinkler systems. BFPE
INTERNATIONAL provides installation of these systems by professional,
factory trained and certified personnel. We also design and
install fire alarm and detection systems, high sensitivity air
sampling smoke detection systems, and control wiring for foam,
pre-action and other water-based extinguishing systems.
The
most important factor in providing quality service is dedicated,
experienced and well-trained personnel. Our staff of over 320
personnel includes engineering, sales and management personnel
who are NICET (National Institute for the Certification in Engineering
Technologies) certified. We employ over 225 technicians who
must complete factory training and certification and a rigorous
in-house training and certification (unique to the industry)
before going into the field. Additionally, our technical staff
is supported by over 85 professionals in contracting, logistics
and administration. We are active members of NFPA (National
Fire Protection Association), AFSA (American Fire Sprinkler
Association), AFAA (American Fire Alarm Association), FSSA (Fire
Suppression Systems Association) and NAFED (National Association
of Fire Equipment Distributors), BOMA (Building Operators Management
Association).
