Knowing how to properly operate a fire extinguisher can be the difference between containing a fire and major property damage. Employees who have participated in fire safety training react faster than those without training. The same PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) technique taught during training can be used to extinguish home fires. Employees can take what they learn in the workplace and apply at home.
Participants learn first-hand how to extinguish a fire during an outdoor fire demonstration. Under controlled conditions, participants experience how to successfully extinguish a fire. Upon completion of the training, the facility receives a certificate and each participant receives a card recognizing their participation.
